- Account Information: If you sign in using Sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple ID, name (if shared), and email address (or Apple's private relay email).
- Business Profile Data: Business name, phone number, email, website, and business logo that you enter in the app settings.
- Invoice & Estimate Data: Client names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, line item descriptions, amounts, job photos, and notes you enter when creating invoices and estimates.
- Client Data: Contact information for your clients that is stored within the app.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and unique device identifiers for app functionality and crash reporting.
- Usage Data: App feature usage, screen views, and interaction patterns to improve the app experience.
2.3 Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect payment card information or bank details.
- We do not collect precise GPS location data.
- We do not access your contacts, calendar, or other phone data beyond what you explicitly provide.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the App's core functionality (invoice/estimate creation, PDF generation, client management).
- Generate professional PDF invoices and estimates with your business and client information.
- Store your data locally on your device for offline access.
- Authenticate your identity when using Sign in with Apple.
- Process your subscription through the Apple App Store.
- Send push notifications related to your invoices (if you opt in).

4. Data Storage & Security
Local-First Architecture: Your invoices, estimates, client data, templates, and business profile are stored locally on your device. This means your data is available even without an internet connection.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS) for any network communication.
- Secure authentication via Sign in with Apple.
- Subscription management handled entirely through Apple's secure payment infrastructure.
While we strive to protect your personal information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share information in the following limited circumstances:
- With your consent: When you explicitly share an invoice or estimate via email or another app, the recipient receives the PDF content you chose to send.
- Service providers: We may use third-party services for crash reporting and analytics (e.g., Apple's built-in analytics). These providers are bound by their own privacy policies.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
- Business transfers: If Clear Echo Labs is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

7. Your Rights & Choices
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- Access & Export: You can view all your data within the app and export invoices as PDF files at any time.
- Correction: You can edit your business profile, client information, and invoice/estimate data directly within the app.
- Deletion: You can delete individual invoices, estimates, clients, and templates within the app. You can also delete your account entirely from Settings, which removes all associated data.
- Push Notifications: You can enable or disable push notifications through your device settings at any time.
- Subscription: You can manage or cancel your subscription through the Apple App Store.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
9. Data Retention
Your data is stored locally on your device for as long as you use the App. If you delete the App or your account, your locally stored data will be removed from the device. We retain minimal server-side data (authentication tokens) only as long as your account is active.
10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
